catch light and water

and lance leaf the bee

twisted under fringe and tattoos

never too yellow

Yellow Yellow Yelled

are her words

etched across her wrists

and spread petal ankles under her skirts

she drips long colored sounds

between the short breaths

of bee, bird and bug

songs

What a flower sees Incoming

Bows over string, A sweet Hum

For a tiger to land, Crisp claws on fragile Skin, That disappear inside

I want to see enlight

Like hind sight

No blind Ness In black holes that drink

In No thing left to chance, Can those eyes sense

So strong?

Could I see in reverse?

Eye for an Eye

Would you listen to me?

LEAVE THE FIGS ALONE!

Crow cast an eye at my eye

Held it tight

And pulled the last ripe Fig…

BAM!

In a Figment of my imagination

I Shot the damn bird

And watched it rain black feathers

In a Glorious

Black dance

Against the summer blue sky

Heat

Waves

Rippled

The black feathers

So they spun like

Tightly tethered kites

Their trajectory changing

Rapidly

As did my soul’s

Which Darkened

My Blue eyes now Black

An Eye for an Eye

I made a big fat fig tart

And

Crowed about it.

Buddha sat under

My Fig tree

And shook his head.

Of course

He never tasted my fig tart.
